Missouri Lottery News: O’Fallon Husband’s ‘Idea’ Leads to $50,000 for Donna Watton

JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Donna Watton said she and her husband are not regular Missouri Lottery players, but when the jackpots get high, they enjoy buying a few tickets.  And as luck would have it, one of their Powerball tickets for the Oct. 20 drawing was worth $50,000.

“It was my husband’s idea.  He bought two, and I bought two,” explained the O’Fallon resident, who said they purchased both Powerball and Mega Millions tickets at the time.
