Mueller probe “must proceed free from interference”
OLYMPIA, WA — AG Ferguson today joined a coalition of 18 state attorneys general in urging Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker to recuse himself from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
Ferguson and Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey sent the letter today, cosigned by the attorneys general of:
- New York
- New Jersey
- North Carolina
- Rhode Island
- New Mexico
- Washington, D.C.
