The Latest: Oklahoma extends lead to 32-27 with safety

Oklahoma’s defense, off all things, came through with a game-changing play against Texas in the Big 12 championship. After the Longhorns forced a turnover to give the ball back to the offense deep in its own territory, the Sooners’ Tre Brown sacked Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger in the end zone for a safety to make it 32-27.

Oklahoma got the ball back, too and was trying to put together a drive to kill the clock and salt away their fourth straight Big 12 title.
