NEW YORK  | ‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ kicks off SAG Awards with 3 wins

NEW YORK  —January 27, 2019— Megan Mullally kicked off the 25th annual Screen Actors Guild by introducing them as “the greatest honor an actor can receive this weekend” before the ceremony began with a trio of wins for “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”

The Amazon series won the first three awards handed out Sunday at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. It won best comedy series ensemble, best actress in a comedy series for Rachel Brosnahan, and best actor in a comedy series for Tony Shalhoub, whose win was a surprise in a category that included Bill Hader (“Barry”) and Michael Douglas (“The Kominsky Method”).
