South Carolina News: GREENVILLE, ANTHONY DEPREE SMITH, Federal Jury Convicts Jacksonville Man for Crack Cocaine Conspiracy

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Robert J. Higdon, Jr., United States Attorney for the Eastern District of North Carolina, announces that yesterday in Federal court, ANTHONY DEPREE SMITH, a 44-year-old resident of Jacksonville, was convicted following a two-day trial before Senior United States District Judge Malcolm J. Howard. The jury found SMITH guilty of Conspiracy to Possess with the Intent to Distribute Two Hundred Eighty (280) Grams or More of Cocaine Base (Crack). Sentencing is scheduled for the May 7, 2019 term of court in Greenville.
