Statement from San Francisco Mayor London Breed on California State Budget

San Francisco, CA (STL.News) – Statement released by San Francisco Mayor London Breed on California state budget:

Governor Gavin Newsom Thursday signed the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 California state budget, which makes significant investments in housing affordability, homelessness programs, health and human services, education, and other critical services, while supporting many of San Francisco’s ongoing initiatives.

“Our city and state are facing tremendous challenges, and the budget signed today by Governor Newsom will help address the issues we face around the high cost of rent, homelessness, behavioral health, and ensuring equity in our communities.
