Amazon Continues Investments in Renewable Energy – Announces Two New Renewable Energy Projects in US, EU

Amazon’s second renewable energy project in the Republic of Ireland and seventh in the Commonwealth of Virginia are expected to produce approximately 168,000 MWh of clean energy annually to support Amazon’s goal to power 100% of its global operations with renewable energy
Projects will supply clean energy to the company’s Amazon Web Services datacenters that power Amazon and millions of AWS customers globally
Globally, Amazon has 66 renewable energy projects – including 51 solar rooftops – that have the capacity to generate 1,342 MW and deliver more than 3.9 million MWh of energy annually

SEATTLE, WA (STL.News) – Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) August 1st announced the company’s 65th and 66th renewable energy projects.
