CHICAGO, IL – September 12, 2026 (STL.News) Chicago officials are warning residents and visitors that vehicle access to parts of downtown could be restricted this weekend as Mexican Independence Day celebrations, major sporting events, concerts, and festivals converge on the city, potentially bringing hundreds of thousands of people to Chicago.
